Who can join the Defence Teaming Centre?
Defence Teaming Centre membership is open to any company that has an interest in the Defence Industry. Our membership includes Defence Primes working purely in Defence, small to medium enterprises (SME’s) looking for Defence opportunities and professional service companies working to support other members.  Membership applications are submitted to the Board for approval.

Is the Defence Teaming Centre in any other states or territories in addition to South Australia?
While the Defence Teaming Centre is only currently located in South Australia, we have members from other states and territories that are interested in the South Australian Defence Industry and teaming opportunities with members. Members are welcome from anywhere within Australia and internationally.

What is the Defence Teaming Centre’s relationship to the Australian Industry & Defence Network (AIDN)?
The Defence Teaming Centre is the South Australian branch of AIDN, we work with the AIDN team throughout Australia to ensure our members are provided with national opportunities and marketing intelligence. Defence Teaming Centre membership also includes admission to AIDN-SA, but does not give membership to other state chapters.

What are the fees for joining?
Membership fees are based on the number of  full time employees your company has working within South Australia. If you do not have a South Australian location, membership fees are based on the number of full time employees your company has nationally. Membership fees are listed on our Membership Application.

What benefits do I receive?

Do all members receive the same benefits?
All members are provided with the same range of membership benefits and we will work with all members equally to ensure they take advantage of the benefits available to them.

Is the Defence Teaming Centre part of the government?
The Defence Teaming Centre is not part of the South Australian or Federal Government. We are an incorporated not-for-profit industry association that receives funding from Defence SA, a South Australian Government department and receive other funding from memberships fees and contestable funding. All monies are invested back into developing the defence industry.
 
Can the Defence Teaming Centre help me find a job in Defence?
The Defence Teaming Centre is not a recruitment agency however we have recruitment agencies within our membership base who service the defence industry. We suggest that you have a look at our membership list and take the time to understand the different companies operating within the industry and many of their websites have links to career opportunities should they have any available. Also amongst this list are our member recruitment agencies and their contact details. Some defence industry organisations will require you to obtain a Security Clearance I recommend you read our page on the topic it provides a detailed list of requirements.  

Is the Defence Teaming Centre a registered training organisation?
The Defence Teaming Centre is not a registered training organisation and do not deliver accredited training however through a number of our programs such as the Productivity Places Program and South Australian Defence Industry Leadership Program we work closely with facilitators and Registered Training Organisations to provide our members with accredited training opportunities.
